Others are hoping for that chance at stardom they never got in college.A player from Bowie State University in Maryland has never been drafted. Playing at the NCAA Division 2 level, the Bulldogs are two levels below teams typically shown on TV on Saturdays in the fall. But by the time the draft ends, defensive lineman Joshua Pryor is hoping to make the jump to the next level.“It’s always been my goal, and I’ve always had people saying this is a possibility,” Pryor said. Published Sat, 22 Feb 2025 03:52:07 GMT

LONDON (AP) — Liverpool is not giving up on a top-four finish in the Premier League, however unlikely it seems.A 2-1 win at West Ham on Wednesday was a third straight victory for Jurgen Klopp’s team and it was sealed by Joel Matip’s header from a corner in the 67th minute at the Olympic Stadium.Lucas Paqueta put West Ham ahead with a fierce strike from outside the area in the 12th minute, only for Liverpool to equalize through Cody Gakpo — off another long-range strike — six minutes later.Liverpool climbed to sixth place and six points behind fourth-place Manchester United, which has two games in hand — the first coming at Tottenham on Thursday.“If we win all our games we will be in Europe,” Klopp said. “People ask me about the Champions League but that’s not in our hands as we don’t play any of the teams above us. It’s important we keep going, playing good football and at the end of the season we will see how many points we have.”West Ham manager David Moyes was a...

Twitter under its 420-friendly owner Elon Musk earlier this year became the first major social media company to allow cannabis advertisements. Now, the platform is relaxing those rules in an attempt to lure in more advertisers from U.S. states where marijuana is legal. “Going forward, certified advertisers may feature packaged cannabis products in ad creative,” Twitter said in a post on its website. Previously, cannabis advertisers could not show any products in their ads, nor could they actually promote their sale. “They may also continue responsibly linking to their owned and operated web pages and e-commerce experiences for CBD, THC, and cannabis-related products and services,” Twitter said. The billionaire Tesla CEO has been forced to make huge cost cuts and scramble to find more sources of revenue to justify his $44 billion purchase of Twitter. The platform also removed a ban on political advertisements in January.Still, companies interested in advertising cannabis produc...
